Lift For The 22 Partners with Workout Anytime Panama City Beach

Local Panama City Beach veteran Joseph Mann felt the lull of returning home after having served in the military from 2001 to 2011, and constantly being in a full-speed environment. Upon looking for an outlet for his stress, he found balance in exercise at his local WORKOUT ANYTIME location.
The gym may now become an outlet for many Panama City Beach veterans. WORKOUT ANYTIME has partnered with veteran support organization “Lift for the 22”, and will be gifting 22 local veterans with gym memberships at each of their 85 locations. Veterans who wish to be considered can visit the “Lift for the 22” website to register: www.woatstaging.com/lft22
“Lift for the 22” is an organization designed to reduce the number of veteran suicides that occur every day, as reflected in the name. Veteran and Panama City Beach WORKOUT ANYTIME owner Chris Gately explained that they are building upon Lift for the 22’s initial goals by informing local veterans of the existing local military community at the gym working together to positively transition into civilian life by maintaining their physical exercise outlet. “Just getting out of the house, getting around other veterans…that’s priceless,” Gately said. “You feel better about yourself. It’s a stress reliever.”
