Workout Anytime Launches Partnership with Veterans Support Group
Posted on November 2, 2015
Fitness chain Workout Anytime, Alpharetta, Ga., has announced a partnership with veterans support organization Lift For The 22 in an effort to limit post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and support those returning from service.
Lift For The 22 was founded by military veteran Carter Davis, who battled with loneliness and depression upon returning home from his service with the military. The organization is designed to support veterans’ transitions into society and ultimately decrease veteran suicides due to transitional depression and anxiety through veteran networking across the fitness industry.
The cause is especially close to the heart of Workout Anytime Co-founder and President John Quattrocchi, who served in the Air Force in Southeast Asia during the 1960s. On Veterans Day (Nov. 11), Workout Anytime will launch its partnership with Lift For The 22 by giving 22 local veterans a free membership at each of their 85 locations.
