The 24/7 Hendersonville gym location is also planning to embark on its first fundraising event on Sept. 25, collecting money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in observance of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.
A time to recognize and support children and families affected by childhood cancers, donations may be made online, in-club or during the event for the rest of the month.
Donations will go to Dean and Tasha Ives, members of the gym, who lost their 11-year-old daughter Sydney to childhood cancer.
Sydney became a patient at St. Jude after her diagnoses of an inoperable and ultimately incurable brain tumor when she was 9 years old. Watch more of their story here.
Dean Ives will run in the St. Jude Memphis Marathon® Weekend Dec. 4 and is raising money for the research hospital while training for the race. Read more about it here.
A free boot camp, welcoming all fitness levels, will kick off the event at 10 a.m.
