Whitney’s fitness journey started in 2011 when she decided to lose the weight she gained during her first pregnancy. She followed a detailed nutrition plan and, with the aid of a trainer, an exercise routine that included resistance and high intensity interval training. She was able to lose 90 pounds in one year! Then in 2015, after her second pregnancy, she lost 100 pounds with the help of her trainer Ray Lee (now a WOA Sylacauga team member!).
She has a B.S. in Recreational Therapy from Alabama State University, an M.S. degree in Criminal Justice from South University, and an A.S. degree in Medical Assisting from South University. She is an AFAA Certified Personal Trainer, AFAA Certified Group Instructor X, and MX4 certified.
Whitney is passionate about helping and inspiring others to become the best version of themselves. A Sylacauga native, she loves interacting with the community and takes pride in being able to grow a fitness movement in her hometown.
She has two children - John Peyton (7) and Zackery (3). Her motto is "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11
